Just a short outfit post today but I'm in love with this outfit at the moment! A few weeks ago I was really in the mood for a floral shirt that wasn't too bright. After a while browsing, I finally thought to check Topshop and came across this shirt! I bought it from the petite range which isn't something I'd normally do, as I find that Topshop sizes can often be a bit on the small side, but then again I am 5ft 2 and so this shirt ended up fitting perfectly. There aren't many sizes left so grab it fast if you're interested! These shoes are also are recent Topshop buy - I got them for £18 in the January sales, which I think is a great price for Topshop, and I've worn them most days since. I couldn't find them online but just last week I saw a few pairs still hanging around in Topshop Doncaster, so it's likely there's still some in other stores too! The bag here is also my current favourite - after seeing it in the Primark at Meadowhall, not buying it and then regretting it later, I ended up being determined to find it again and then actually getting it from the huge Liverpool store (to put that in perspective - there's around 98 miles between those two stores). I promise I was in Liverpool for other reasons, not just to find this bag - that just happened to be one of many upsides to the trip ;)

Looks like I'm finally keeping up with outfit posts for once! This outfit's made up of some of my favourites of my most recent purchases - my staple Primark boots and fishnets, and this gorgeous new H&M dress (plus the exact sort of fedora hat that I've been after for ages!) 

A tip if you're wanting to get this dress - the sizes are very much on the large side. For dresses I'm usually around a size 14 but the one I'm wearing here is a size 8 and is nowhere near too tight for me!

OOTD: "I Myself Am... Strange & Unusual" • Halloween Edition: Lydia Deetz (Beetlejuice)

Hello!

So, apparently not many people know this about me, but dressing up is probably amongst my favourite things... so how could I not love halloween? 

Although I don't actually go out for it, I did decide to put together a quick outfit this year of my favourite goth photographer from my favourite film (aka. Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice). It isn't the best Lydia costume in the world as I mostly put it together from things I already had lying around (and the black wig was £3 off eBay so not the best quality in the world) but I'm glad I finally got around to shooting it regardless!

This week I finally got around to shooting a new ootd! Autumn is my absolute favourite season in terms of fashion (and everything else, to be honest) so I'll hopefully be shooting a lot more autumnal outfit posts while I can.

Last week I visited Meg (Meg Hartley photography) for our usual sort of day out - a catch up then a trek through the countryside for photos! I thought I'd blog a few of my favourites from the day. 

Autumn's definitely my favourite season and we could really see it starting to appear everywhere when we took a walk through the forest in the beautiful little village Meg calls home.

a new adventure

So I probably should've uploaded sooner than this since I've not posted since January, but I figured better late than never!

For those of you who don't know, I got married in July so am now technically Rebecca Bentliff! I'm planning on blogging the official photos from the day at some point (all taken by Rosie Hardy) but for now I thought I'd just put up some snapshots of our honeymoon to Northern Ireland!

 Partway through our week there we decided to go on a mini tour of some of the nearby locations used when filming Game of Thrones!
